The opening of Roa's LA solo show did not disappoint; a big warehouse space was filled with large-scale peaceful animals in various states of slumber or decay. A huge fox lying over a pile of mice is the central mural, and several lenticular screens broke up the space. There's a lot more work in the show than included in this post - it's definitely worth seeing in person (
details here - it only runs through November 24th), or there are
some more images on flickr.

Roa's show in LA opens this Saturday (November 13th). It's a great space, and he's working on some fantastic stuff, including a huge mural as the centerpiece.
Here's a glimpse at what he's up to:

Bumblebee's participating in a show at the
Thinkspace Gallery in aid of Born Free USA; he's created a phonebooth installation, as well as a huge tree covered in newsprint, with 14 industrious bees.
