finally! a dream come true. i pasted casa de hugo hernandez today. my friend linda came along. i'd told her i'd wanted to see if i could do this big a piece by myself; so she just hung out and took pictures. hank is 16 feet; thelma is 15.

what a beautiful day! the sky was so, so blue - almost azure like a fall sky. on the horizon, breaking through the blue, i'd see the snow-covered san francisco peaks and would draw inspiration from that.

Stunning work in the Arizona desert around Tuba City. Most of these pieces are on a Navajo reservation; the walking figures are code talkers. The colors are so striking in the bright desert light, and against the black and white pasteups.

update: It turns out that Yote did the Coyotes, while the lambs, code talkers and bull rider were done by Jetsonorama. They did not work together, but the results are awesome; it looks like they collaborated.
