You should watch this for the art, for the crazy story of right-wing press gone mad, and for Saber's impassioned message for access to healthcare.

This is
Dan Baldwin's print,
'Halfway between the gates of hell and the garden of Eden', which was released at his
recent Carmichael Gallery show. Prints are still
available through Carmichael for $650, but last night an AP of the print
sold at auction in Bristol for £2,300 in the
Get Dring Mobile auction at Dreweatts - pretty amazing for a newly-issued print.
Dan's prints are so collectable because each one is heavily hand-worked; in the past they've included real bullet holes, hand made crucifixes, dollar bills and fabric flags.
Dan's next print, to be released soon, is below.
'Evolved' is available exclusively through the printmaker,
Harwood King. It takes the idea of an editioned print to another level - it's giclee on hand-torn Fabiano paper, with separated varnishes, a frame around the butterfly area, acetate & wood additions, gold and silver leaf, two real razor blades and hand paint finishing. It's an edition of 50.

Fresh from creating
the amazing 'Combo' animated video at the
FAME Festival, Blu has arrived in NYC and is busy creating a huge piece at
Deitch Projects. Maybe Blu's complicated money machine will work better than Wall St.

From Tiptoe:
"This is the third piece composed of a heart being held by two hands. The first one was call
"With a heavy sigh"; the second was
"The heaviest stone to carry"; this one this referred to as
"Get a Rhythm".
"This piece has become a symbol for many things in my life. The Rhythm of life is something you can let happen to you or it is something you can manifest yourself. The hands simultaneously offer the heart to the world and protect the heart from the world. The hands could be providing the heart with a rhythm or exposing the heart to the rhythm of the outside, the world, the street...
... to a new place where it can take energy from.
"The piece will be working hand in hand (no pun intended) with my trip. Brooklyn was my first stop on a World Tour that I have been planning for a while now. I leave New York today and will be moving on to new things."
