"I recently completed a painting on a gate that is 17 x 7 feet. The piece is essentially about a person not telling the complete truth, it's entitled 'Straight From the Humans Mouth'.

Prior to the painting on the gate I installed one of the most ambitious projects to date, a piece entitled Infanticide. Infanticide was 13 x 8 feet and hand painted, but the majority of the piece was a two color paper subtraction. The piece only lasted six hours but it took about a month and a week to construct. I think the worst part of that was me not being able to get a great quality photo besides the studio shots.

The piece was actually based on a women by the name of Amelia Dyer. I was basically just trying to tell a forgotten story."

How I wish I was in Grottaglie, Italy right now. The FAME festival really looks great (see older posts here) - a summer of great artists doing fantastic work. The image above is from a new animated film that Blu and David Ellis are working on; I can't wait to see the results.

In the meantime, it gives me an excuse to post some of their older work.

Check out Studio Cromie where some of the work that's being created is appearing for sale.
