'The Four Horses Of The Apocalypse'

This is the first time Roa has incorporated color into one of his walls. It took three days to complete.

It's at Unit44, a gallery and creative hub in Newcastle; it was done as part of the 'White Walls' project that is gradually creating the biggest outdoor gallery group show in the UK.

In 2008 French artist C215 put a series of stencils up in Delhi. The Random Specific blog has revisited the work and has a great series of images of the stencils with two years of wear ... and they look really good. C215's style works really well with the added coloration and texture of the years.

One nice comment from a local woman: “They brought so much energy to our area with children all crowding round to watch this strange foreign-type painting just for the love of it.”
