After the weekend's New York Street Advertising Takeover, the main illegal billboard operator (NPA Outdoor) quickly repasted a lot of the billboards with new posters.

Fortunately some decent people caught these posters while the glue was still wet, so managed to uncover Phil Lumbang's 'Hug Life'.

Usually Banksy's work on the street has a tough life: it's either prized off by profiteers (later sold or exhibited in lame exhibitions), vandalized, or put behind plastic to protect its value. Occasionally a Banksy survives for a decent length of time in reasonable condition.

Rarely though is a Banksy just ignored, as the 'girl with watering can' is. It seems fitting that of all the places a Banksy might be ignored, Hollywood is the place, where churning through former stars is business as usual.
